To learn it? Not long. To expand my range to hit that last note? About a year, on and off.
I saw it 4 times in theaters. I convinced myself I was watching it ironically, but I recently re-watched it and I can no longer fool myself.
I really like the concept, the visuals were great, and I actually found the corny humor entertaining.
But It wasn’t a good movie, I understand that.
But now it really hurts me that the second was so bad, and so different from the first. It shouldn’t, but it does. And now I kind of want a third to be made.
HOW CAN I EVER BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY IN SOCIETY?
Anime Boston is the first convention I ever had anyone to go with me. It was pretty rad.
We were dressed as Simon Petrikov and Betty from Adventure time

Luckily we ran into a BMO at registration who told us about an Adventure Time shoot later that day. Also, pre-registering was the best idea ever. The line was huge and we by-passed it completely. Registering only took about five minutes.
Tons of people took out picture and we got lots of semi-tearful hugs. A really nice Fionna and Lady Rainicorn helped us find Artist’s Ally which was pretty well hidden for such a big event. They were selling Science the Rats and I felt obliged to buy one since they were so helpful.

I’m really glad I did. He’s so cute!
The Adventure Time shoot was really fun. Luckily we had someone lead us to it. It was really hard to find. It was in a really obscure place under the stairs. We sang lots of Adventure Time songs and took lots of pictures. I’ll post the pictures in my next post.
I wibbled a lot. So many feelings.
Is this the person who hugged me and said “It’s gunna be ok, Simon. Things are gunna work out.”? Because I love you.
Also, always reblog CosplayKaty.
Always.
What time is it??
(seriously though there was SO MUCH Adventure Time! There was a photoshoot and everything!)
Yay! Someone posted me as Simon on the internet!
Did I make it known that I’m going to be cosplaying Tobey McCallister III? Well, I am
You can see how bad of a blond I make + bad camera photos
Always re-blog Wordgirl cosplays. Always.
Great job. It looks really cool! WG cosplayers unite!

Production of a Jurassic Park costume begins NOW. Seeing this movie in 3d in theaters is my DESTINY.
I fucking love Jurassic Park like you have no idea. I watch it all day, everyday.
Not an exaggeration. I come home from school, put the first JP in, watch it, watch the making of, take the first JP out and put the second one in, watch that, watch the making of, take the second out, put the first one back in. REPEAT.
Sometimes I even force myself to struggle through the third one(which I consider more like a fan-fiction than a real Jurassic Park.) I LOVE THESE MOVIES THAT MUCH.
I know every word to both the movies AND both the “Making Of”s. Every time I go to Universal Studios, I spend hours in the Jurassic Park section. Every few years, I re-install Jurassic Park Operation Genesis and play it for a few weeks. I drink almost exclusively out of this mug:

The reason this post is on my cosplay blog is because I have the inability to make cosplays if these movies are not playing. I get distracted from working if something isn’t on in the background, so I always need to be playing a movie or T.V. show, but if I watch a t.v. show, I end up spending too much time changing channels. Jurassic Park is something I can watch on repeat for as long as I need and I know I won’t get tired of it.
I’m also posting this on this blog so I have an excuse to use this gif:

Well that only makes me wonder how much NSFW stuff you have…
Also, I’m not mad. I’m trying to make this very obvious, because I’ve been burned before by trying to use sarcasm/ be facetious through type.
I put “I’m not mad” in the # stuff.
You artist and your genitalia. I don’t try to understand.
Only accept.
